The post below shows further development of my shared work with Caroline Black. I further developed the idea of burning photographs and used this to show In one of our discussions I had mentioned wool acting as a thread of memory and this idea struck a chord with Caroline who used some wool as a texture in shared works. I then re-used her wool textures as a feature within the landscape. Continuing this reference ot children, I then made a child’s spinning top. The latest work uses poetry. We tried to find another partner for this element of our work but so far noit found anyone interested so decided to use existing poems about life and death, the trees and the forest.
