AIMS

The aims of this unit are:

A1      To provide an opportunity to initiate and sustain a substantial project of self-directed work that continues to synthesize your learning.

A2      To support the production of highly effective and individual ideas and outcomes that continue to further your emerging practice.

A3      To encourage independence through professional application of knowledge, understanding and skills in how you initiate and manage outward facing aspects of your project.

A4      To provide opportunities to showcase your emerging practice, and to reflect on your learning.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

On satisfactory completion of the unit you will be able to:

LO1     Design a distinct practice based project or projects. (A1)

LO2    Produce a meaningful and individual body of work that draws on your strongest ideas. (A2)

LO3    Critique contextual and practical knowledge to inform creative practice. (A3)

LO4    Evaluate your practice critically presenting the results via applicable mechanisms. (A4)

ASSESSMENT CRITERION
